Roll On/Roll Off Service

While not available in all ports, ReloTrans also provides transferees with the option of roll on/roll off service for shipments overseas. In a roll on/roll off service, the vehicle is driven onto the vessel and secured directly to the ship’s deck. While the vehicle is not placed in a container is it positioned in an area of the vessel protecting it from the elements.

While roll on/roll off (non-containerized) services are often more cost effective than a containerized shipment if the transferee is transporting only one vehicle, the ReloTrans relocation coordinator will work with the transferee, in accordance with client policy, to ensure that the most cost effective and efficient transportation method is utilized.
